Sara – Edema, Muscle Spasms, Legs, Arms

Sara is 29 years old and has cerebral palsy from brain damage at birth. She has a head lag, which means she’d never be able to walk. She was unable to talk and always required complete care. She’s in a reclining wheelchair that supports her. Her scoliosis became so severe that she has rods in her spine to provide upright support. Her hands are flexed completely down against her forearms so she cannot feed herself nor manipulate anything with her hands. She communicates by nodding her head and making sounds which the family can interpret. She has her own language and continues to look at things and smile and now she can say, Thank you, Yeah, No.” She’s very intelligent. She reads, watches programs on her iPad. She is on Medicare disability.
Her biggest pain issue is leg and arm muscle spasms and cramps. Her doctor orders Botox injections to relax the muscle spasms. At her visit 2 months ago, the office informed them it is no longer covered by disability insurance so they must pay $2000 for the injections. Her mother started using Mighty Natural Relief gel on her forearms and lower legs twice daily. The pain was relieved!
Sara’s foot was severely swollen. The edema subsided with the gel when nothing else helped! Sara loves the gel and gets worried if she thinks the bottle is getting low. I delivered the second bottle to Sara yesterday. She kept saying ‘Thank you’ over and grinning! As told by Patricia S, Fremont, NC
