Alley – Overall Wellbeing, Longevity

I adopted Alley as a 12 week old puppy and shortly thereafter started her on my Mighty Medley twice a day. Alley always had a shiny coat and displayed vitality, energy, and alertness. She robustly played with my Bichon, Caley every day!

The life expectancy of Golden Retrievers is about 10 to 12 years. Often, they display joint and arthritis issues as early as age 5. My vet told me Golden’s also have a cancer rate between 67-85%. Alley lived to be 13.5 years and stayed cancer and dementia free. She had great fluid mobility until about 12 years of age.

Sadly, at 12 years old, Alley developed polyneuropathy (which is a genetic disorder) which paralyzes dog from the tail moving forward up their body until it hits their lungs or heart. I have videos of Alley running and playing until her disease set in.

Her vitality and shiny coat was a testament to the benefits superfoods provided for her.
